Privacy Policy

Last updated August 22, 2026. WhoAsks collects an email address when someone requests a free brand check, asks for early access, or signs in to an existing account. It also collects submitted websites, study inputs, and basic technical logs needed to keep the service secure and working. WhoAsks does not sell this data or use study inputs for advertising.

Storage and service providers

Account and study data are stored with infrastructure providers in the United States and protected by access controls. Study questions are submitted to third-party AI systems to capture their answers, without the account email or identity. Other personal data is only shared with providers needed for hosting, authentication, email delivery and payments, or when required by law.

Rights and retention

Account holders can request a copy or correction of their data, or request deletion of the account and its studies. Personal data is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request, except for minimal records required for legal or security reasons. The service uses only the cookies or local storage needed to maintain a signed-in session and does not use third-party advertising trackers. WhoAsks is operated by Moonshot Labs LLC.
